AR Course Maker

During my graduation I did an internship at Edumersive. Edumersives goal is to make virtual and augmented reality accessible for everyone. They mostly specialize in VR training applications.

During my graduation I worked on an AR course creator. For this I needed to save room data so the app would recognize the space the user was in and place the 3D objects in the right spots. To save the room data I used spatial data and saved this in a database so it can be accessed again. As seen in the video after scanning the room for enough data, 3D objects can be placed around and saved. When the user wants to, they can access the data again, scan part of the room and find the objects back where they left them. I built this app for Android and IOS.

Graduation Presentation

For the end of my graduation I had to give a presentation. With this presentation I wanted to show the power the application could have in the future. I made a separate build for my presentation with part of the presentation done in hologram form by myself. This way I could show how the scanning of the room was done, while showing the spatial data to the user.
